"A sweet friendship refreshes the soul."

                         -Proverbs 27:9

Greetings from the Dade County (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated!

Our journey as a chapter began on June 1, 1986, and we remain dedicated to the community, mission-focused, and purposeful in our programming. We are the second chapter chartered in Miami-Dade County, and we are proud to be among the 83 chapters in the Southern Area, which encompasses Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

The Dade County (FL) Chapter stands strong as an affiliate of one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who exemplify the importance of blending sisterhood and friendship to enrich and sustain the culture and survival of African-American ancestry. Our dedicated members fulfill various roles as educators, change makers, political leaders, financiers, attorneys, healthcare professionals, mentors, activists, and volunteers. Together, we strive to foster educational growth, civic engagement, and intercultural harmony, all aimed at enhancing the lives of the communities we diligently serve.

Collectively, we have upheld the values and principles of our esteemed organization through unwavering friendship, sisterhood, and service to enrich the lives of the underserved within the Miami-Dade community and beyond.

Guided by our commitment to five impactful programming facets—Services to Youth, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, The Arts, and Health and Human Services—our chapter is rooted in the community. As a testament of support from our partners, we have been able to collaborate in the areas of mental health, cultural arts, mentorship programs, and educational support through our scholarships. We are extremely proud to support our local HBCU through our chapter endowment, which provides ongoing opportunities for students aspiring to achieve their goals.

On behalf of the 50+ active members and 18 alumna members of the dynamic Dade County (FL) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, thank you for visiting our virtual home.
